Yeah baby! Let's see Wilt Chamberlain do THIS!

I tried to come up with something poignant to say for this 100th post, and I drew a blank.  I contemplated writing something funny or maybe something about my kids, but I couldn’t think of anything.  I thought about educational topics, another Five for a Friday post, or maybe a list of 100 somethings.  It would have been cool to hit the 100 post two weeks ago on March 2 as an homage to the 50th anniversary of Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game, but I thought about it too late.

Honestly, I’m just glad this week is over.

In the last 15 days, the one-year-old got sick, then the seven-year-old missed 4 days of school because he got really sick, then the baby got sick again and spent a couple days in the hospital, then Mrs. Brown got the flu and pink eye.  The family has been through a tiring first half of March and I think we need a break this weekend.

The rest of the month has to only get better from here…and stay tuned for the next 100 posts.

Soulquarian Quote of the Day

"There is no hip hop manual for growing old...The 22-year-old college grad who used to love the Roots in 1994 never left. He’s just 40 now and has a wife and kids and doesn’t feel like spending all night at a club."
